Delete your ReNewing account.

Delete in the app

1. Open the ReNewing app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete Account.

You can also get to the same screen from Privacy & Data → "Delete All Data," or from Privacy and Support.

Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately.

Can't use the app?

If you don't have the app, or you can't get into your account, email us and we'll delete your account for you.

Email us from the address associated with your account. Do not send passwords.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:

• Your login and profile
• Check-ins, journal entries, and journal shares
• Goals, reminders, and My Why
• Your sobriety circle and relapse events
• Devotional and classroom progress, quiz attempts, and notes
• AI coach sessions, summaries, and insights
• Group and team memberships, connections, and roles
• Reactions, read receipts, and push subscriptions
• Feedback submissions and moderation records

What stays, anonymized

Some things are kept so other people's conversations still make sense. They stay, but they're anonymized and shown as "Former member":

• Community, team, thread, and DM messages
• AI coach chat messages
• Prayer requests
• Feedback comments

Security logs

Security audit logs keep their entries, but your user ID is removed from them.
